Mowing, fall cleanup, beds & shrubs, and snow clearing for homes around Canandaigua. Owner-operated — when you call, you get Joe, and Joe does the work.
Straightforward pricing, quoted before any work starts. Final price depends on yard size and how much work is actually there — you'll always know the number first.
Weekly mowing with trimming and edging, clippings handled, walks and driveway blown off before leaving.
Full-property leaf cleanup, beds cleared out, and everything hauled away or bagged. Recurring leaf visits are also available while the leaves are dropping.
The detail work that makes a yard look finished — weeded beds, shaped shrubs, clean edges.
Walks, steps, porches, and the sidewalk out front — the parts a plow truck leaves behind. Smaller driveways too, by shovel and blower. Pay only when it snows.
I answer the phone, I set the price, I do the work. No crews, no handoffs, no stranger in your yard.
I live in Canandaigua. There's a good chance your yard is on my street, and I treat it that way.
You know the number before any work begins. No hourly meter running, no surprises on the invoice.
Bordoy Outdoor Services is insured, and every job gets a written estimate and invoice.

If I took care of your yard, a Google review helps a one-man business more than any ad. It takes a minute, and it means a lot.

Yes. Bordoy Outdoor Services is insured.
Most estimates start with a satellite look at your property. From there I usually come out in person to see the work before giving a final price, so there are no surprises either way.
Canandaigua, Farmington, Victor, Bloomfield, Manchester, and Shortsville are my core area. Outside those towns, ask me: one-time jobs I can often make work.
You will get your estimate and invoice directly from me, and you can pay online.
Every visit includes mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing grass clippings off walkways and driveways.
Yes, depending on my schedule and the condition of the lawn. Weekly mowing is my primary service.
If the lawn is too wet to mow, I'll adjust the schedule and let you know when I can get back out.
Not usually. As long as I can access the areas being serviced and any gates are unlocked, you're good to go.
No, I use shovels and snowblowers for walkways, steps, sidewalks, and smaller driveways. Snow clearing is offered based on availability.
I'm Joe Bordoy. I live in Canandaigua with my wife Jessica, a nurse, and our four kids. I grew up in New Jersey, but this is home now.
For years I was a stay-at-home dad. Now that all the kids are in school, I wanted work I actually love doing, and for me that's yard work. Always has been. So in 2026 I took the leap and started Bordoy Outdoor Services.
Running my own business is also what fits our family. School schedules, sports, life with four kids: working for somebody else was never going to flex around that. When you hire me, you get me. I answer the phone, I do the work, and I treat your yard like it's on my own street. Because it probably is.
Service area:
One call handles it — mowing, fall cleanup, beds & shrubs, and snow.
Final price depends on your property and the storm, and is confirmed before any work starts.
No plow truck here. I clear snow with shovels and a snow blower, one visit at a time, so the work is done carefully and your lawn, steps, and walkways don't get torn up by a blade. Snow clearing is offered per visit, based on availability. No season contract.
Every visit starts at your front door and works outward:
Select single-car driveways by request. Driveway clearing is limited and taken case by case, so ask and I'll tell you straight whether yours fits the route.
A plow does a fine job on a driveway. Then it leaves, and your steps, your porch, and the walk between your front door and that clean driveway are still buried. You're still digging yourself out the door. My visit covers the whole way out: door, steps, walk, and sidewalk, cleared before the driveway ever matters.
A cleared driveway is only half the job when your front steps and walkway are still buried.
